A man, identified as Chukwuemeka Ajaegbu Stanley, has been arrested and freed on N20k bail after biting the lips of his young niece in Aba, Abia State.
According to reports, the commercial tricyclist had visited his brother but didn’t meet him at home. He then went into the room where his wife was and snatch the baby from her.
Stanley thereafter bolted with the baby and locked the door of the room from outside. He then proceeded to bite off his niece’s lips, while shouting that he is tired of being a tricycle rider.
The suspect was later arrested, but was later granted bail by the police.
The baby was rushed to Coroma hospital, Aba, and currently receiving medical attention. Many are suggesting that the suspect took the action for ritual purpose.
